Our missions
The Centre International d’Initiative for Sustainable Development (CIIDD) is dedicated to the design, structuring and support of initiatives related to sustainable development, within controlled frameworks compatible with institutional, economic and territorial realities.
CIIDD’s missions are conducted according to an approach based on rigor, coherence and responsibility, in alignment with its fields of intervention and statutory principles.
I. Strategic Structuring and Sectoral Expertise
CIIDD contributes to the analysis, structuring and support of initiatives related to sustainable development, by mobilizing expertise adapted to the contexts concerned.
Its work may notably cover, without limitation, the following areas:
ecological and environmental transition,
circular economy and sustainable resource management,
sustainable agriculture and agroecological systems,
responsible tourism and sustainable economic activities,
innovations and tools contributing to the sustainability of organizations and territories.
These activities are carried out within defined frameworks, taking into account identified regulatory, technical and operational constraints.
II. Frameworks for Recognition and Structuring of Commitments
CIIDD may contribute to the structuring and recognition of sustainable approaches, in particular through the development of reference frameworks, evaluation mechanisms or tools for the valorization of commitments.
These approaches aim to ensure coherence, clarity and alignment with national or international reference frameworks, without creating any implicit obligation or guarantee of results.
III. Support for Innovation and Impact-Oriented Initiatives
CIIDD may support innovative or impact-oriented projects falling within its fields of intervention, particularly where they demonstrate a clearly identified general interest and compatibility with its institutional frameworks.
Such support may include phases of analysis, structuring or coordination, according to modalities adapted to the nature and maturity level of the projects concerned.
IV. Design and Structuring of Sustainable Projects
CIIDD contributes to the design and structuring of sustainable projects, drawing on recognized reference frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and applicable European or national frameworks, without direct operational commitment outside formally defined frameworks.
These projects are considered within a logic of viability, reproducibility and adaptation to territorial and institutional contexts.
V. Contribution to the Dissemination of Sustainable Practices
CIIDD may contribute to the dissemination of sustainable practices and reference frameworks, notably through actions of information, awareness-raising or training, in formats compatible with its capacities, priorities and stage of development.
